WHAT DOES A COMPUT-a-PAC COURSE CONSIST OF?
We could list all the parts of COMPUT-a-PAC, but the course is much more than the sum of those parts. It is a modern, integrated training system with a flexible entry point to quickly build up your knowledge and skills and become a confident Computer Programmer.
The course uses a variety of media, plus the back-up of a specialist assigned tutor. It is a course designed for today, to learn quickly and effectively in your own, free, time. The reading you can do on the train or in bed, tapes you can listen to in the car or in the bath, the program writing, you'll have to do with the computer supplied!
Complete the course and you will take internal examinations and be ready to sit recognised paper qualifications. You will have the opportunity to take the examinations of City and Guilds of London Institute or EdExcel (BTEC). There is a continuous assessment throughout the course so that there is no danger of you losing your way as you will be working to the industry standard NVQ for Computer Programmer.

Included in your COMPUT-a-PAC are all the compilers and program generators so that you can write programs to the universally accepted ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standard.
